Privacy Policy for Bud Crush
Effective date: July 22, 2026
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Bud Crush (“the Game,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile match-3 puzzle game published by Edukas Solutions LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Game does and does not handle, and your choices. We’ve kept it short because the Game itself collects very little.
1. The short version
- Bud Crush has no accounts and no login. You do not give us your name, email, or password.
- Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device.
- We do not operate a server that receives your personal information.
- Purchases are processed by the app store you downloaded the Game from — the Apple App Store or Google Play — using your existing store account. We never see or store your payment-card details.
- The Game shows rewarded video ads— short videos you can choose to watch in exchange for extra moves. Nothing plays automatically and you are never required to watch one. The ad software starts when the app starts, and on Android it uses your device’s advertising ID even if you never watch an ad (see Section 6).
- Bud Crush is not directed to children and is intended for adults.
2. Who we are
Bud Crush is developed and operated by Edukas Solutions LLC, the legal entity responsible for the Game. For privacy questions, contact us at the address in Section 10.
3. Information stored on your device
The Game saves the following on your device only (it is not transmitted to us):
- Game progress (levels cleared, scores, your in-game collection).
- In-game virtual currency balances (BudCoins, Terp Gems) and booster inventory. These have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Settings such as music, sound, and haptics preferences.
- Anonymous gameplay diagnostics (for example, which level was attempted and whether it was won or lost) used to help us balance difficulty. These records contain no information that identifies you and stay on your device.
If you delete the Game, this on-device data is removed with it.
4. Purchases
Bud Crush offers optional in-app purchases of virtual currency and bundles (for example, Terp Gems and the Starter Pack). When you make a purchase:
- The transaction is processed by the app store you downloaded the Game from — Google Play Billing on Android or Apple In-App Purchase on iOS — using your existing store account. We do not receive or store your credit-card number, billing address, or store-account credentials.
- The Game receives a purchase confirmation (a store receipt) so it can deliver the item you bought. This confirmation is checked on your device.
- Your store’s handling of the purchase is governed by that store’s privacy policy, not this one — Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) on Android, or Apple’s Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy) on iOS.
Virtual items are licensed to you for use within the Game, are non-refundable except as required by law or your app store’s policies, and have no monetary value.
5. Information collected automatically by the app stores and platform tools
To distribute and run the Game, the app store you use (Google Play or the Apple App Store) and certain platform tools may process limited technical data:
- The app store — Google Play on Android or the Apple App Storeon iOS — collects purchase and basic device/diagnostic information as part of operating the store. See Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) or Apple’s Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).
- The Game uses Unitytechnology (including Unity’s in-app purchasing tools). Unity’s tools may process limited technical identifiers needed to deliver purchases and basic crash/diagnostic information. Unity states that its in-app purchasing component does not collect personal data about app users. Unity’s data practices are described at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We do not combine any of this store or platform data with information that identifies you. This section describes the app stores and Unity’s purchasing and diagnostic tools only — advertising is described separately in Section 6.
6. Advertising
Bud Crush shows rewarded video ads: when you run out of moves you can choose to watch a short video to earn extra moves. Watching is always your choice — there are no forced, auto-playing, or full-screen interruption ads, and you can keep playing without ever watching one.
Ads are delivered by Unity LevelPlay mediation with Unity Ads as an advertising partner. Please note:
- The ad software starts when the app starts. It runs on every launch so a video is ready if you ask for one — not only when you choose to watch. That means some ad-related data is processed even if you never watch an ad.
- Our advertising partner may collect your device’s advertising identifier, technical and device information, general location derived from your IP address, and ad-interaction data(such as which ads were shown and whether you watched them) to deliver and measure ads. Their handling of that data is governed by Unity’s privacy policy at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- On Android, the app uses the Google Advertising ID. You can opt out of personalized ads, and reset or delete that ID, in Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads). If you opt out you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
- On iOS, the app does not ask for permission to track youand does not use Apple’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA). You can review tracking permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- We instruct our advertising partner to treat every user as having opted out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes, and we do not identify any user as a child. We apply this to everyone by default — you do not have to ask.
- We do not send our advertising partner your name, email address, payment details, or your in-game progress. Bud Crush has no accounts, so there is no account to link an ad to.
7. Sale and sharing of personal information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not operate a server that receives it. Bud Crush has no accounts, and we do not collect your name, email address, or payment details.
Delivering advertising does involve sharing your device’s advertising identifier and related technical data with our advertising partner, which some U.S. state privacy laws treat as a “sale” or “share.” Because of that, we instruct our advertising partner to treat every user as having opted out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes. This applies automatically, to everyone, with no action needed from you. To confirm this or ask a question about it, contact us using Section 10.
8. Children’s privacy
Bud Crush is not directed to children and is rated for adults due to its cannabis-themed fictional content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address in Section 10 and we will address it.
9. Your choices and rights
Because the Game stores your data on your device and we do not maintain accounts:
- You can clear your game data at any time by deleting the Game from your device.
- You can manage advertising and tracking permissions in your device settings: on Android, in Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can opt out of personalized ads and reset or delete your advertising ID; on iOS, in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Bud Crush does not currently request tracking permission on iOS.
- Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to know about, access, or delete personal information. Because we do not maintain accounts or a personal-information database, in most cases we hold no personal information to act on; where we do, you may contact us using Section 10 and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days under CCPA/CPRA).
Distribution note: Bud Crush is offered to users in the United States. It is not intended for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions with separate data-protection regimes; if we expand distribution, this policy will be updated accordingly.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When our practices change in a material way, we update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top so you can see when it last changed. We aim to publish those updates alongside the change in the Game.
